Rnyming or not.
Poetry tends to be very personal. I've written poems that have been read at weddings and funerals, at roasts, and as thank yous for various occasions.
If you hire me to write a personal poem for you, I'm going to pick your brain. By the time we're done, you might not be sure if I wrote it--or you did. That's half the fun. Otherwise, you might as well donate a couple of dollars to Hallmark.
